A lot has happened since my last post, I am sure of that.
We have sold our house in St. Louis, moved to Springfield, Lyon started a new job at Missouri State, got a puppy, and we are welcoming a baby girl in March! PHEW!!!
We are not sure what to do with a girl, but 2 1/2 years ago, I didnt know what to do with a boy either. Here's to pink!
Justin and Kendra Skinner took some fabulous pictures of Hayden and our BIG gender reveal!
Here are a few for now!

As most of you know, we are saying goodbye to the city that Lyon and I have called home for 4 years, bittersweet. Lyon and I have only known Saint Louis as our home as a married couple. This is the city that we bought our first house together, brought our baby home from the hospital, made great friends, and made many unforgettable memories.
We are very sad to say goodbye, but we are excited to start a new chapter in our life.
Lyon has accepted a position at Missouri State University in their Bio-Medical Department as an Assistant Professor and I have accepted a position as a full time Mama... WHOOT! WHOOT!
Hayden and I finished up at Saint Louis Children's Hospital Child Development Center (that's a mouth full), a couple of weeks ago and now we are touring the Lou before we move. We will miss our CDC family very much, but we will be back for visits. It's not goodbye, just see ya later. I've always wanted to stay home with my children, and I am very lucky to have a husband who also wants that for me as well.
We are on to the fun part, selling our house, which is not so fun!
Something about selling the house that you have made you own for the past 4 years is really weird. We have people coming in and out of our house and it feels so odd....almost as if our privacy is being violated. Well, it's time to get over that and sell our house! So if you know of anyone whom is interested in buying in the South County area, send them our way...PLEASE!
I just pray that the perfect someone will come along and love this house as much as we have.
My sweet little niece, Ellie, is a big 2 year old.
They had a wonderful party on their back deck and the kids ran wild.
Poor Hayden couldn't keep upright, the silly kid fell countless times in the huge puddles in the yard. Thanks cousin Ellie for supplying him with some, not too girly, but still girly pants.
Did I mention that Ellie is also a big sister now. She has a sweet baby sister Kathryn Ann, or as we like to call her Baby Kate...or Baby Cakes.
